Beasley Bear Ride

The Beasley Bear Ride is one of the classic kiddie rides at Centreville Amusement Park on Centre Island in Toronto. It's a simple spinning ride where children sit in individual bear-shaped cars that rotate around a central axis and gently bob up and down. The ride moves slowly enough that toddlers feel safe but fast enough that they feel like they're going on a real adventure.

This is a starter ride — the kind that introduces very young children to the concept of amusement park rides. For kids aged 2-5, it's often their favorite thing at Centreville because they get their own seat (shaped like a bear!) and can feel independent. Parents stand right at the perimeter and wave as their kids come around.

The ride lasts about 2-3 minutes. On busy summer weekends, there may be a short line, but it moves quickly since the ride cycles frequently. On weekdays, you can often walk right on.

As a standalone experience, this isn't something you'd make a special trip for. It's one stop among 30+ rides at Centreville, which is part of a full Centre Island family day. The ride is located within the Centreville park area and requires either individual ride tickets or an all-day wristband.

The area around the ride is paved and stroller-accessible. Centreville has washrooms, snack stands, and seating areas nearby. The Beasley Bear Ride is best appreciated as part of the full Centreville experience for families with kids under 8.
