Wychwood Barns Park

Wychwood Barns Park at 76 Wychwood Avenue is one of Toronto's most unique park spaces. Built on the site of a former TTC streetcar maintenance facility, the park combines a playground, sports field, community gardens, and the iconic covered barn structures that now host a popular Saturday farmers' market and community events.

The playground is solid and well-maintained, with equipment for multiple age groups. The sports field offers space for pickup games, and the off-leash dog area is a draw for dog-owning families.

The real magic is the Saturday farmers' market, running from approximately May through December under the covered barn structures. The market features local produce, baked goods, artisan foods, and prepared meals. For kids, the market is an engaging sensory experience — tasting samples, looking at unusual vegetables, and interacting with vendors.

The historic barn structures maintain their industrial architecture while serving as community gathering spaces. Various arts and community organizations occupy studio spaces. A community garden operates on the grounds.

The St. Clair West neighborhood surrounding the park has evolved into one of Toronto's top food corridors. The St. Clair West TTC station and streetcar line provide transit access.
