About

One Yonge Community Recreation Centre is one of Toronto's newest city recreation facilities, located in the emerging East Bayfront waterfront neighborhood. The state-of-the-art building offers premium recreation amenities at the same subsidized city rates as all Toronto community centres.

As a new-build facility, One Yonge has modern features including a competition-standard pool, large gymnasium, multi-purpose activity rooms, and fitness facilities. The pool in particular is a major draw for families, with lane swimming, family swim times, and swimming lesson programs.

The centre offers the full range of City of Toronto recreation programming for children: swimming lessons, sports programs, arts classes, day camps, and free drop-in sessions. Being new, the programming lineup continues to expand as the neighbourhood grows.

The waterfront location is convenient for families staying downtown or visiting the Harbourfront area. It's near Sugar Beach, the waterfront trail, and the Distillery District, making it easy to combine a rec centre visit with other activities.

Drop-in programs are the easiest entry point for visiting families. Open swim, gym time, and family activity sessions run on a schedule posted on Toronto.ca. No membership is required for city recreation drop-ins.

Registered programs book through the City of Toronto's central recreation portal. Because the facility is new and popular, programs fill up faster than at older centres. Set reminders for registration opening dates.
