About
Fantasy Fair is an indoor amusement park inside Woodbine Mall in Etobicoke, making it one of the few places in Toronto where kids can ride real amusement park rides year-round, rain or shine. It's aimed at kids roughly 2 to 10 years old, filling the gap between indoor playgrounds and full-scale theme parks.
The rides include a small roller coaster, spinning teacups, a drop tower scaled for kids, bumper cars, and several other gentle rides designed for young children. Nothing here is intense or scary — the coaster has small hills and gentle curves, the drop tower is mild, and the spinning rides go at kid-friendly speeds. This makes it perfect for first-time riders who aren't ready for Canada's Wonderland.
The centerpiece is a beautifully restored 1911 carousel with hand-carved wooden horses. It's one of the oldest operating carousels in Canada and genuinely special — even parents who are jaded by kiddie rides tend to appreciate the craftsmanship and history.
Beyond rides, the 3-level play village is essentially an indoor playground with tunnels, slides, climbing structures, and play stations. It's included with any ride wristband and can easily absorb an hour on its own. Many families spend more time here than on the rides.
The park has a food court area with pizza, hot dogs, and other standard amusement park fare. Being inside Woodbine Mall also means the mall food court is accessible if you want more variety.
The facility is stroller-friendly with flat floors throughout. Washrooms with changing facilities are available. The noise level is moderate — it's an indoor space with ride sounds and music, but not overwhelmingly loud.
Woodbine Mall has free parking and is accessible by TTC bus routes. The park is open year-round but hours can vary — check the website before visiting.

Why Kids Love It
The 1911 antique carousel is the crown jewel — kids ride hand-carved wooden horses on a piece of living history. The 3-level play village with tunnels and slides burns energy for hours. The kiddie roller coaster and spinning rides are the perfect intensity for kids who aren't ready for full-size amusement parks.
