Grébovka (Havlíčkovy sady)

Grébovka, officially named Havlíčkovy sady, is one of Prague's most beautiful and undervisited parks — a sprawling hillside garden in the Vinohrady district that rewards families who seek it out with vineyards, a rose garden, fountains, a grotto, and sweeping city views.

For families, the park offers a magical outdoor experience that's completely free. Children are immediately captivated by the working vineyard — actual grape vines climbing terraced hillsides — which sparks curiosity in a way that ordinary parks simply don't. The rose garden is stunning in late May and June, and the grotto and pavilion add a fairy-tale quality that younger kids especially love.

The park is large enough that older kids and tweens have room to explore independently while parents relax on the grass.
