Maison du Jardinage

Maison du Jardinage is a charming community garden and educational center tucked inside the Parc de Bercy in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. Free to enter, it offers families a relaxed outdoor space where children can learn the basics of gardening — planting seeds, understanding soil, and watching things grow — through workshops and independent exploration. The center runs regular family-friendly workshops, particularly during school holiday periods and on weekends, where children can get their hands dirty in a genuinely educational setting.

The surrounding Parc de Bercy itself is one of Paris's most pleasant green spaces, with wide lawns, a romantic vineyard, and plenty of room for kids to run freely before or after a gardening session.
