The Devonshire Park play fountains (jeux d'eau) on Rue Clark in the Plateau Mont-Royal area offer a compact but fun splash pad experience for young families. The water features are ground-level jets that spray upward at varying intervals, giving kids an interactive water experience without any pools or deep water.

This is a smaller splash pad compared to some of Montreal's bigger installations, but that's actually a plus for parents with toddlers. The contained space makes it easier to keep eyes on multiple kids at once. The jets are gentle enough that even two-year-olds can enjoy them without getting overwhelmed.

The fountains run seasonally from mid-June to early September during daytime hours, typically 8 AM to 8 PM. The surrounding Parc Devonshire has some green space and benches, though shade is limited near the splash pad itself. Trees along the park edges provide some cover during the hottest parts of the afternoon.

There are no washrooms or changing facilities right at the park, which is the main drawback. The Plateau neighborhood surrounding the park, however, has plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops along nearby Rue Saint-Laurent (Saint-Laurent Boulevard) where you can duck in if needed.

This splash pad works best as a quick cool-down stop during a longer day exploring the Plateau rather than a standalone destination. Pair it with a walk along Saint-Laurent for lunch, or combine it with a visit to Parc Jeanne-Mance or Mount Royal, both of which are a short walk or bus ride away.
