Mira Amusement is an entertainment venue on the 3rd floor of a building on Rue Sainte-Catherine Ouest, in the heart of downtown Montreal near the Bell Centre. It combines a large video arcade, sports bar, and entertainment center that targets older kids, teens, and adults.

The arcade section is substantial — dozens of machines including racing simulators, shooting games, dance games, basketball shooters, claw machines, and newer VR experiences. There are also bowling lanes and pool tables in the sports bar area. The mix of activities means families can spend several hours without running out of things to do.

This is NOT a young-kid venue. The sports bar atmosphere, darker lighting, and loud music make it unsuitable for toddlers and preschoolers. But for families with tweens and teens, it's one of the few downtown Montreal entertainment options where parents and older kids can both genuinely have fun. Parents can grab a drink at the bar while teens compete at the arcade — everyone's happy.

The 4.7 Google rating reflects a well-run operation. The downtown Sainte-Catherine location is easy to reach by metro (Lucien-L'Allier or Guy-Concordia stations). Parking is available in nearby lots but costs $10-$20.

Pricing works through game credits or packages. Read the options before loading up a card — time-based packages with unlimited play are often better value than buying credits one at a time, especially with multiple kids who'll burn through credits fast.

Combine with other downtown activities (shopping on Sainte-Catherine, Bell Centre events, Chinatown) for a full day out.
