Champs De Rêves

Champs De Reves is a garden center and agritourism destination near Montreal that transforms into one of the region's most popular family farm experiences in fall. Apple picking, pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and wagon rides draw thousands of families every September and October.

The apple orchard is the main attraction. Kids walk between rows of trees and pick apples directly from the branches. The trees are pruned to keep fruit at kid-reachable heights, which means even toddlers in a parent's arms can pluck an apple. You pay by the weight of what you pick, and most families leave with a bag or two.

The pumpkin patch opens in October, and kids love wandering through the field to find their perfect pumpkin. The farm sets up seasonal decorations, photo spots, and sometimes a corn maze that keeps the whole family busy for an extra 30-45 minutes.

Wagon rides through the property are popular with younger children. The rides give a quick tour of the farm and provide a break from walking. During peak fall weekends, lines for the wagon can stretch to 30 minutes.

The garden center operates year-round and sells plants, flowers, and gardening supplies, but the fall season is when families flock here. The property is about 30 minutes from downtown Montreal and has ample parking.

Weekends in late September and early October are by far the busiest times. If you can swing a weekday visit, you'll have a much more relaxed experience with shorter lines and more room to roam in the orchard.
