About
Go Ape Battersea brings its signature high-ropes and zipline experience to Battersea Park, one of London's most scenic green spaces, with the added bonus of views across the Thames toward Chelsea. The Treetop Adventure course is designed for families, with height-appropriate challenges and a safety briefing at the start that makes even nervous first-timers feel capable. Kids as young as 7 can participate on the junior course, while older children and teens tackle the full treetop route with longer ziplines and higher traverses.
Parents can participate alongside children, making this genuinely interactive rather than a spectator activity. The experience runs on Fridays through Sundays only, so it requires planning around availability. All equipment is provided and safety harnesses are fitted before you start — staff are experienced at working with first-timers and nervous participants.
The surrounding park provides plenty of open space for before and after — kids can burn off post-adrenaline energy on the park's playground or cycle paths. Because Go Ape requires good weather to operate at its best, check conditions before heading out on marginal days. Minimum height requirements apply to different sections of the course, so check the Go Ape website before booking if you have children close to the lower end of the height range.

Why Kids Love It
Treetop ziplines and rope courses with a direct view of the London skyline — it's an adrenaline rush that older kids won't stop talking about for weeks
Pro Tips from Parents
- Wear closed-toe shoes — sandals and flip-flops are not allowed on the course
- The zipline at the end is the highlight — pace your energy so kids don't burn out on the rope elements before reaching it
- Book a slot at least a week ahead on weekends — Saturday morning sessions sell out fast
What to Bring
- Closed-toe shoes — mandatory for all participants
- Comfortable, non-restrictive clothes you can move freely in
- Drinks and snacks for after — there's no on-site food at Go Ape Battersea itself
