Kayakear offers families a chance to get out on the water and experience Buenos Aires from a completely different perspective. Paddling through the calm canals and riverside areas near the city, kids feel the thrill of navigating their own route while staying safely within guided or designated zones.

Life jackets are provided and mandatory, so even parents who are cautious about water activities can relax a little. Instructors or guides are on hand for beginners, and sessions are structured so that first-timers can learn paddle technique before heading out. Tandems are available for younger kids who aren't ready to paddle solo.

This works best for kids eight and up — younger children can join in tandem setups but need to be comfortable around water. The experience runs roughly one to two hours, making it an easy half-morning or early afternoon activity. Weekend mornings tend to have the calmest water and the best light.
