Aquafan is one of the Buenos Aires area's most popular water parks and a summer bucket-list item for families with kids who love slides and pools. The park features multiple water slides at varying intensity levels — from gentle flumes perfectly sized for younger kids to properly fast slides that tweens and teens will ride on repeat — plus a wave pool and lazy river that work for the whole family simultaneously.

The scale of Aquafan is genuinely impressive. This is not a hotel pool with two small slides; it's a dedicated water park with enough variety to keep kids of different ages and daredevil levels happy across a full day. Summer in Buenos Aires (December through February) gets genuinely hot, and a full day at a water park is one of the best ways to keep the whole family cool and entertained simultaneously. That said, the park is at its busiest on weekend days in January — expect meaningful queues for the most popular slides. Weekday visits are dramatically more pleasant, both in terms of wait times and overall crowd density.
