About

Acadia Ebike Adventure makes it possible for families to tackle Acadia National Park's famous carriage roads without the physical challenge that can make traditional cycling daunting for younger or less-fit riders. The electric-assist bikes take the sting out of climbs while still giving riders the satisfaction of pedaling through one of America's most beautiful national parks. The 45 miles of smooth, car-free carriage roads that wind through Acadia are perfectly suited to e-bikes, and the electric assist means even kids who aren't strong cyclists can keep up and truly enjoy the scenery.

Popular routes include Eagle Lake Loop, which offers stunning mountain and lake views, and the Witch Hole Pond area, which tends to be less crowded. Staff helps families plan routes based on experience level and time available, ensuring the outing is enjoyable rather than exhausting. Helmets are provided, and guides are on hand to explain the history of the carriage roads, originally built by John D.

Rockefeller Jr. in the early 1900s. This is one of those rare activities that gets the whole family moving outdoors while feeling effortlessly fun.
