About

The Fox's Den Spray Park is a free water play area inside Stanley Park, located near the miniature train and Lumbermen's Arch. It's one of the best ways to cool down with kids on a hot Vancouver summer day, and the Stanley Park setting makes it feel like an adventure rather than just a splash pad.

The spray park features ground jets, arching water sprays, and interactive water play elements spread across a rubberized surface. It's designed for kids from toddler age through about 12, with areas that are gentle enough for little ones and spray features strong enough to keep older kids entertained. The water is recirculated and treated, and the surface is non-slip.

Location is a major advantage. The spray park is steps from some of Stanley Park's best family attractions: the Stanley Park Miniature Railway, the Vancouver Aquarium, and Lumbermen's Arch picnic area. You can easily build a full day around the spray park plus one or two of these nearby spots. The Lumbermen's Arch area has picnic tables and grassy areas perfect for laying out a lunch.

The spray park is seasonal, typically operating from mid-June through Labour Day in September. Hours are generally 10 AM to 6 PM, but check the Vancouver Park Board website for current schedules. On hot days, the park gets busy by early afternoon, so morning visits are your best bet for space.
