Located at Rowlett's community park on Main Street, this castle-themed playground delivers the kind of scale and variety that makes kids want to linger long past when parents are ready to go.

The play structures are extensive — multiple interconnected climbing areas, slides of various sizes, and interactive elements spread across a large footprint. There's enough here that siblings with a few years between them can split up and both be engaged without conflict. Toddlers can manage the smaller structure entry points with a little help, while 8-10 year olds will be entirely independent and happy.

What distinguishes Kids Kingdom from a basic city playground is the evident investment Rowlett has made in keeping it excellent.
