Fritz's Adventure - The Colony

Fritz's Adventure in The Colony is one of the most impressive indoor adventure parks in the entire state of Texas — and it's located within the Grandscape development near Nebraska Furniture Mart, putting it in one of the most accessible and family-friendly commercial districts in north DFW.

The scale is genuinely staggering. The facility covers tens of thousands of square feet and includes a mountain-style indoor climbing structure, zip lines, rope courses at multiple heights, trampolines, giant slides, foam pits, laser tag, and more — all under a single climate-controlled roof. It's the kind of place where even adults lose track of time because there's simply so much to explore.

For families, the all-inclusive wristband is the only rational way to experience Fritz's. Individual attraction tickets add up fast, and the wristband approach lets kids rotate freely through all activities at their own pace without repeated purchasing decisions. It also makes the price more predictable — budget $100–$160 for a family of four with wristbands.

Age and height matter here. The rope course and zip line have minimum height requirements — check the Fritz's website before visiting to set appropriate expectations for younger kids. The facility has plenty for kids 6 and up, but some of the highest and most exciting elements have thresholds around 48–52 inches.

Weekend bookings fill up fast, especially during school breaks. Timed entry helps manage crowds, but peak Saturdays still feel busy. Weekday afternoon visits are dramatically calmer and give kids more space and less wait time on popular attractions.

The Grandscape dining scene adjacent to Fritz's is excellent — post-adventure meals at Shake Shack, Bonefish Grill, or dozens of other options are easy and make the whole afternoon feel special.
