Wild Canyon Adventures

Wild Canyon Adventures is the only adventure park in Los Cabos, and it packs a serious punch — zip lines, bungee jumping, a glass-floored gondola, the longest hanging bridge in Mexico, camel rides, ATV tours, and an animal sanctuary, all set in a dramatic desert canyon landscape.

The zip line course is the crown jewel. Eight separate lines total 815 meters, including stretches where you soar above the canyon at speeds up to 55 mph. For tweens and teens who crave thrills, this is pure gold. The views from the lines are spectacular — desert canyon walls, distant ocean, and the unique desert-meets-sea landscape that makes Los Cabos so distinctive.

The bungee experience is for the truly brave. A glass-floored gondola takes you up above the canyon, and jumpers free-fall nearly 300 feet. Even if nobody in your family plans to jump, the gondola ride itself is an experience — the glass floor gives you a stomach-dropping view of the canyon below. Kids love watching other people jump and hearing the screams echo through the canyon.

For families with younger kids (ages 4+), the best options are the Camel Quest encounter and the Ecological Park. The camel ride takes you through a desert oasis on gentle, kid-trained camels — it's surprisingly fun and not something most kids have done before. The animal sanctuary includes exotic birds, reptiles, and desert animals.

And the Los Cabos Canyon Bridge — 1,082 feet of suspended walkway across the canyon — is thrilling without being terrifying, making it accessible for the whole family.

Pricing is on the premium side. A family doing zip lines will spend $400-500+, and that's before the mandatory $15/person Ecological Park entrance fee. Budget-conscious families can get a genuine Wild Canyon experience with just the Ecological Park fee ($60 for a family of four), which includes the bridge walk and animal sanctuary.

Add one activity like the camel ride for a balanced day without breaking the bank.

The park is about a 10-minute drive from downtown Cabo San Lucas. Wear closed-toe shoes (mandatory for most activities), bring lots of water, and come early to beat the heat.
