WonderWorks Pigeon Forge is an interactive science and discovery attraction housed in the iconic upside-down building on Music Road, just off the main Pigeon Forge Parkway. With over 100 hands-on exhibits spread across six themed zones, plus an indoor ropes course and laser tag arena, WonderWorks offers families 2-4 hours of engaging, active entertainment that feels like a cross between a science museum, a playground, and an adventure park.

The building itself sets the tone — the entire exterior appears to have been flipped upside down, with the roof on the ground and the foundation in the air. Suspended three stories above the ground floor, this course features rope bridges, balance beams, suspended platforms, and climbing challenges that test courage and agility. Kids wear full safety harnesses and clip into a continuous belay system, making it safe while still delivering genuine thrill.

The course takes 30-45 minutes to complete, and the sensation of crossing a swaying rope bridge 40 feet above the exhibit floor is something kids remember long after they leave.

Laser tag offers a competitive team experience in a multi-level, neon-lit arena. Sessions last about 15-20 minutes, and kids can play multiple rounds if time allows. The scoring system adds strategy beyond simple tag-and-run, engaging tweens and teens who appreciate tactical gameplay.

WonderWorks is one of the premier rainy-day attractions in the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area, entirely indoors and air-conditioned.
