Jennette's Pier

Jennette's Pier is a state-of-the-art concrete fishing pier in Nags Head, operated by the North Carolina Aquarium system. Stretching 1,000 feet over the Atlantic Ocean, it combines world-class fishing access with marine education, making it one of the most family-friendly attractions on the Outer Banks.

Inside the pier building, a small North Carolina Aquarium satellite facility houses aquariums with local marine species, touch tanks where kids can handle sea urchins and horseshoe crabs, and educational exhibits about the Outer Banks marine ecosystem.
